Bids must be received by Monday, October 28, 2024, at 2:00 P.M., with the city planning to award a contract within 90 calendar days of bid opening.
Each bid must include a bid surety bond of at least 5% of the first-year base bid, and the successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond and labor/materials payment bond equal to 100% of the first year's contract value. The city will utilize a large roll-off system for leaf collection and miscellaneous refuse at the Department of Public Services yard. Bidders must submit proof of required insurance coverage, with bonds to be renewed annually throughout the contract duration. The solicitation emphasizes comprehensive waste management services, including solid waste, yard waste, and recyclable materials collection and transportation, with flexibility in service delivery and contract length to meet the city's specific needs.
