About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 for the Garfield County Fair and Rodeo Ticket Sales Request for Proposal (RFP-GC-FE-03-24), which provides a comprehensive question and answer session for potential vendors. The addendum covers critical details about the ticket sales opportunity, including projected ticket quantities for the concert night: 2,000 tickets at varying price points ($15 in grandstands/track, $50 in the arena), with 50 complimentary tickets at $175. The County is seeking a ticket vendor to manage both online and on-site ticket sales, with an expectation that the selected vendor will be physically present during the fair.
The document reveals that approximately 200-300 complimentary tickets will be issued, primarily for VIP purposes, and these are already included in the projected ticket totals. The County requires two to three ticket scanning locations, specifically at the breezeway, and is looking for a comprehensive ticket management solution that includes on-site support and transaction management. The ticket sales estimates are based on past performance, and the vendor will need to provide technology, staffing, and operational support throughout the event. The scope of work suggests a detailed operational requirements for ticket sales and scanning during the Garfield County Fair and Rodeo.

Addendum No.1
Q&A
Q1: Would it be possible to elaborate on the ticket quantities and any corresponding price information? Ideally, a breakdown of the different price points would be helpful, including any advance discount prices.
A1: Concert night: 2000 projected tickets at $15 in the grandstands/track, $50 in the arena, comps 50 at $175.
Q2: Is there any past ticket sales information that can be shared?
A2: Yes, estimates are mentioned in the scope under "Ticketed Events" and are based on past performance.
Q3: Would it be possible to elaborate on the ticketing and scanning locations and staffing during the Fair? Are the minimum quantities listed the ideal quantity of staff for the Fair? If not, what would be ideal? This would help with our labor estimates. How many sales locations and how many scanning locations would be helpful.
A3: Yes, these are mentioned in the scope under "Ticket Scanning." Two (2) is adequate at the breezeway, but three (3) may be ideal. Pricing for both could be included.
Q4: Approximately how many comps are issued for each event, and are those included in the ticket totals provided?
A4: Approximately 200-300 comps are issued, mostly for VIP. These are included in the projected totals.
Q5: It appeared that you may be not only looking for the technology, but to have on-site support and the vendor actually running transactions. Is that the case, or are you simply looking for the solution, and you would staff accordingly with the support of our training?
A5: We need the ticket vendor on site during the fair as described in the scope.
