About this file

This Addendum No. 1 document is issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Solicitation FWC 26/27-19 regarding the Jacksonville International Trap Machines, Operating Equipment & Installation project. The addendum provides critical updates to the original bid specifications, including product substitutions and clarifications on installation requirements. The solicitation requests the supply and installation of international trap shooting equipment at Jacksonville Clay Target Sports, including one Promatic Olympic Trap Set with twelve-column carousel, one Promatic Pro 10 Bunker Wobble trap machine, one Progetti EP095M Console Unit, associated controllers, junction boxes, lamp holders, microphones, tripods, referee boxes, and a Claymate Wi-Card counter system. An Alternate 1 option includes replacement of existing MEC skeet machines with a Promatic Signature Skeet Set. All sealed bids must be received by 2:30 PM (ET) on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, with public bid opening at the same date and time at 1875 Orange Avenue East, Tallahassee, Florida 32311-6160. The contract term is one year upon issuance of the Purchase Order, with delivery required FOB Jacksonville within 60 business days of receiving the Notice to Proceed.

The price sheet has been revised to reflect updated equipment specifications, including the substitution of 12-column machines (replacing discontinued 10-column models) and 5 AGM batteries with 5 chargers (replacing transformers). Bidders must provide pricing for all line items without alterations to the price sheet form, and the award will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest total price. The estimated budget is $80,000. Key clarifications included mounting bracket hole locations will be determined by the awarded vendor based on Promatic bunker machine requirements, and construction will commence once permits are obtained, with the permitting process already underway. Bidders must include all necessary labor, travel, lodging, meals, and miscellaneous supplies for complete project delivery. Liquidated damages of $200 per calendar day apply for delays beyond the 60-day completion period, with an additional $20 per week penalty for extended delays.

FWC SOLICITATION ADDENDUM 2

BEGIN ADDENDUM

QUESTION #1

The 10-column machines listed in the bid have been discontinued and replaced with 12-column machines. The transformers listed in the description have also been discontinued and are now replaced with 5 AGM batteries and 5 chargers

ANSWER #1

The Price Sheet has been revised to reflect the current 12-column machines and updated power requirements.

QUESTION #2

Under Scope of Work 1. Assembly and Installation, 1.1 Mounting Trap Machines, it states that the brackets will be provided to the installer similar to the brackets shown in Figure 2. The drawing shows hole-to-hole measurements for the brackets, but those measurements are not correct for Promatic bunker machines.

ANSWER #2

The mounting bracket hole locations shown in Figure 2 are not intended to establish the final hole-to-hole measurements for the Promatic bunker machines. The awarded Vendor/installer shall determine and provide the appropriate mounting hole placement based on the requirements of the Promatic bunker machines being installed. The mounting brackets shall be configured accordingly to ensure proper installation of the equipment.

QUESTION #3

Can you please clarify if the bid specifications will be updated to reflect the current 12-column machines, battery/charger setup, and the correct mounting bracket dimensions?

ANSWER #3

Yes. The Price Sheet has been revised to reflect the updated equipment specifications.

QUESTION #4

Has construction already started on the project? If construction has not started, can you provide the anticipated start date? I’m asking due to the bid being dated July and wanting to make sure we understand the project timeline.

ANSWER #4

Once the permits are in hand, construction will begin. The permitting process has already begun.
