About this file

This is an addendum to an Invitation to Bid (RFB-121-25) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration for Moot Court Classroom Upgrades at the Department of Criminal Justice Training Center in Richmond, Kentucky. Addendum No. 2, dated November 18, 2024, addresses bidder questions and clarifies project conditions. The document indicates that contractors are responsible for all field verification of existing conditions, including measurements. A pre-construction kick-off meeting will be held for the overall project, though no product-specific pre-installation meetings are required. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of all addendums on their bid form of proposal.

The addendum provides critical logistical and operational clarifications for potential bidders. Loading dock access is available in the Schwendeman Building with direct connection to the Weber Building, and a service elevator provides freight access between these buildings and to the project area. Stair carry is not anticipated unless items exceed standard service elevator dimensions, with a two-story stair offering direct exterior access nearby. Background checks are mandatory for all vendor employees and must be approved by DOCJT prior to facility access. Union labor and prevailing wage requirements do not apply to this project. An additional addendum from Lynn Imaging regarding specifications and drawings changes is referenced and will be distributed separately to all bidders.
