About this file

This addendum modifies the Construction Documents for the P.H. Hoeft State Park Campground Electrical Improvements project issued by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNMB) in Rogers City, Michigan. The project, identified as File No. 751/13234.GAG and WAK Project No. 18-0810-0104, involves preparation and installation of electrical improvements and site preparation across multiple campground locations. The scope includes crushed limestone base installation, compaction, grading, and seeding for eyebrow sites (36, 52, 53, 90, 96, 129), back-in/host/barrier-free sites (2, 10, 19, 59, 61, 63, 66, 78, 109, 119, 120, 126, 128), and pull-through/barrier-free sites (75, 76, 80, 82, 84, 86, 108). Additional work includes installation of edge protection posts, relocation of existing fire rings, and coordination with Presque Isle Electric and Gas (Wesley Repke, 989-733-1044) for electrical service setup.

The addendum clarifies specifications and drawing details to ensure proper electrical installation using THWN or XHHW style cables in raceway without direct burial. Turf seeding requirements are specified with a detailed seed mix composition including Blue Fescue, Creeping Red Fescue, Chewings Fescue, Hard Fescue, and Perennial Ryegrass. Modifications to the pull-through and barrier-free site plans require compacted limestone placement in front of power pedestals consistent with eyebrow site details. The contractor assumes responsibility for fire ring relocation and replacement at no additional cost to the owner should damage occur. All site work must be compacted and tested per project specifications, with post placement confirmed by the DNR Field Engineer or representative.
