About this file
This document is an Addendum to the Parking Lot Resurfacing & Striping project for the Wyoming County Courthouse Campus. The addendum provides changes, additions, and clarifications to the original solicitation, including requirements for a 100% performance bond, a 5% bid bond, and the Contractor's Compensation structure. The project expectations detail the milling and removal of the entire asphalt lot, with the County providing the dump trucks and workforce to haul the milled materials. The Contractor is responsible for repairing any compromised or soft spots in the gravel, and installing a minimum of 2.5 inches of hot asphalt binder and 1.5 inches of hot asphalt top coat. The Contractor must also ensure proper transitions to sidewalks, roadways, and drainage devices, and grade the lot to prevent ponding or stagnant water.
The addendum also includes an adjustment to the price clause, allowing for increases only if the original bid was based on the NYS Asphalt Index Cost of March 1, 2024, additional materials and labor are approved via change order, or the Contractor can provide credits to the Owner. The Owner will provide water for milling and rolling, with the Contractor responsible for supplying the necessary equipment to connect to the fire hydrant. This is a lump sum contract with no set-asides or subcontracting goals indicated.
