About this file

This is an Addendum #1 to Invitation for Bid (IFB) C5612610-D issued by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) for Emergency Generator Maintenance, Inspection and Repair Services. The addendum notifies prospective bidders that Attachment 1 containing Walk-Through Information and Schedules has been revised with updated contacts. The document outlines optional walk-through schedules at seven CDCR facilities between March 3-5, 2025, including California Correctional Institution, California Institution for Men, California Institution for Women, California Rehabilitation Center, Chuckawalla Valley State Prison, Ironwood State Prison, and Pelican Bay State Prison.

The document provides detailed requirements for bidders attending walk-throughs, including gate clearance procedures, clothing restrictions, electronic device policies, tobacco-free environment rules, and COVID-19 screening requirements. All bidders must provide complete names, dates of birth, and valid identification for representatives attending walk-throughs. Contact information is provided for two representatives at each facility to coordinate walk-through attendance. The purpose of the walk-throughs is to allow bidders to examine work sites and specific equipment before bidding. No pricing information or contract terms are included in this addendum.

A Bidder Walk-Through Checklist has been included below to assist with completing the walk-through portion of the bid process. Bidders can prepare one checklist per planned attendance at each institution/facility as they complete the process.

Specific directions to each institution/facility can be found on the CDCR internet website at https://www.cdcr.ca.gov/facility-locator/. The contact for each location is included in the walk-through schedule.
