About this file

This is Addendum #4 to ITN #DOT-ITN-25-7007-EG issued by the Florida Department of Transportation for Rapid Incident Scene Clearance (RISC) Services for District Seven. The addendum modifies Exhibit "B", Method of Compensation, Section 2.4 regarding non-vehicular RISC activations. The bid opening date is November 13, 2024.

The addendum clarifies that non-vehicular RISC incident activations will use the existing rotation list rather than a separate one, with the next vendor in line being activated for the designated coverage area. If a vendor declines a non-vehicular activation, they move to the bottom of the rotation list, while accepting and completing such an activation does not affect their position. Payments for non-vehicular RISC activations are one-time payments without additional grouped payments as specified in Sections 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 of the contract. Repliers must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by the bid opening date to avoid disqualification.

FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

ADDENDUM NO.: 4 DATE: 12/10/2024

RE: ITN#: DOT-ITN-25-7007-EG

ITN TITLE: RAPID INCIDENT SCENE CLEARANCE (RISC) SERVICES FOR DISTRICT

SEVEN.

OPENING DATE: November 13, 2024

Notice is hereby given of the following changes to the above-referenced ITN:

1. CHANGE: EXHIBIT “B”, METHOD OF COMPENSATION, SECTION 2.4:

REPLACE THE FOLLOWING LANGUAGE:

Vendors called for a “Non-Vehicle” RISC activation will be placed at the bottom of the rotation list, similar to a standard RISC activation for that county/zone. “Non-Vehicle Incident Clearance” payments are one-time payments and do not include any additional or grouped payments as outlined in sections 2.1., 2.2., and 2.3.

WITH:

Non-Vehicular RISC Activation: Non-Vehicular RISC incident activations do not operate under a separate rotation list. Instead, the vendor next in line on the established RISC rotation list for the designated area of coverage where the incident occurs will be activated to respond.

Impact of Declination on Rotation Position: If a vendor declines a non-vehicular RISC activation, the vendor’s position on the RISC rotation list will be impacted, and the vendor will be moved to the bottom of the rotation list. Conversely, acceptance and successful completion of a non-vehicular RISC activation will not affect the vendor’s position on the rotation list.

Non-Vehicular Incident Clearance Payment: Payments for non-vehicular RISC activations are one-time payments and will not include any additional or grouped payments as specified in Sections 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 of this Contract.

Repliers must acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by completing and returning it to the Procurement Office, by no later than the time and date of the bid opening. Failure to do so may subject the replier to disqualification.
