The project requires obtaining a Nationwide Permit (NWP) 36 for boat ramps from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and a Land Disturbance Permit, which will be a joint effort between Bartow County, City of Cartersville staff, and the selected contractor. The contractor is responsible for soil testing, compaction, and concrete testing. A Pre-construction meeting will be held where the Land Disturbance Permit will be issued to the contractor. Outdoor lighting and a jobsite office trailer are not required for this project. Bartow County will order and install the trail information signage.
