About this file
This document is an Addendum 3 issued by Brevard County Purchasing Services for the South Beaches Lift Stations B-14, B-18, S-18, and S-29 project (Bid #B-7-25-14). The addendum clarifies multiple technical and procedural questions for prospective bidders, with the bid opening scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 10 AM. The project involves lift station upgrades and replacements, including specific requirements such as installing isolation valves, new conduits, telemetry antenna towers, and electrical services. The project timeline is 30 days per station with an additional 30 days for final completion, totaling 150 days.
The addendum confirms no bid bond is required, but a Construction Bond will be necessary if the total bid exceeds $200,000. Key technical specifications include keeping existing Emerson SCADA controls, replacing above-ground assemblies at specific stations, and reinstating shrubs where possible. Electrical modifications include new meter cans, disconnects, and racks. The project involves four lift stations with specific requirements for B-18 and S-18 stations, such as new conduits and telemetry antenna towers. The county has specified Emerson Process Management Standard BCUS Control Wave Micro RTU Panel as the preferred provider for RTU equipment.
