About this file

This document is an Addendum 3 for the Jonesboro Repump Station (RPS) Improvements project, issued by the Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) in Georgia. The addendum includes several revisions to the Project Manual, such as changes to the Bid Form, Agreement, and Coordination with Owner's Operations sections. It also provides answers to questions raised by bidders, including clarification on utility relocation, hazardous materials handling, and lead-based paint abatement requirements. Additionally, the addendum attaches new details for the aluminum platform column base plates and framing connections. The bid opening for this project is scheduled for May 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. local time.

The addendum includes a $30,000 cash allowance for a third-party gas utility to relocate the gas service and meter that serves the Jonesboro RPS. This allowance is solely for the use of the Owner, and the Contractor is still responsible for installing the work shown in the Contract Documents. The addendum also revises the pumping shutdown requirements, specifying that only one ground storage tank can be drained at a time and that shutdowns cannot be performed on back-to-back days without prior approval from the Owner.
