About this file
This is Addendum #3 to Invitation to Bid BL132-22 issued by Gwinnett County, Georgia for the purchase and implementation of simulated training equipment for the Sheriff's Office. The addendum addresses bidder inquiries regarding submission requirements and bonding obligations. The project involves purchasing scenario-based, hands-on simulated training equipment for use of force or de-escalation training, with partial funding from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) grant. The addendum was issued on November 18, 2022, and requires acknowledgment on the Bid Form at page 13 to avoid bid rejection.
Regarding submission requirements, bidders are permitted to submit a screenshot or print screen demonstrating Sam.gov registration application in lieu of full registration documentation, given processing backlogs at sam.gov. Bonds are not required for this procurement. Failure to acknowledge this addendum on the designated bid form section may result in a bid being deemed non-responsive. The addendum was issued by Shelley McWhorter, CPPB Purchasing Associate III.

PURCHASE AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SIMULATED TRAINING EQUIPMENT
ADDENDUM #3
Q1. The Invitation to Bid states that we are required to submit proof of Sam.gov registration with the bid. In what format or what type of documentation would be sufficient to show proof of our registration?
A1. It’s my understanding that there is a backlog with sam.gov. So, if you can submit a print screen of where you have applied, that will be sufficient.
Q2. Can you confirm if bonds are required?
A2. Bonds are not required.
This addendum should be acknowledged on Bid Form, page 13. Failure to do so may result in your bid being deemed non-responsive.
Thank you, Shelley McWhorter, CPPB Purchasing Associate III
