About this file

This document is an Addendum to a solicitation issued by the City of Statesboro Central Services Purchasing Office for the construction of a Fire Department Training Building. The project will involve the construction of a 40x40x16 metal building with a roof extension, as well as all other elements of a typical construction project. A pre-bid conference is required, and bids will not be accepted from bidders that do not attend. Bids are due on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 3:00 PM local time, and the City of Statesboro reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

The addendum clarifies that a General Contractor's license is required, as the project will take place on city-owned property but is under the authority of Bulloch County's Planning and Development department. All necessary building permits and requirements must be obtained through Bulloch County, and the associated fees will not be waived.
