About this file
This document is an addendum to the contract documents for the Veterans Parkway Force Main & Lift Station project for the City of Fayetteville, Georgia. The addendum includes responses to written questions received prior to the deadline, covering topics such as HDPE pipe and valve specifications, utility observation requirements, rock allowance pay items, and the scope of work for various bid items. It also confirms that Coweta Fayette EMC will be the power provider for the lift station and that permit fees from the City of Fayetteville will be waived or refunded, though additional permits from Fayette County may be required.
The original contract opportunity is for the Veterans Parkway Lift Station & Force Main project, located in Fayette County and the City of Fayetteville, Georgia. The work includes trenching, grading, installation of a new sanitary sewer lift station, stone access road, sanitary sewer force main, sanitary sewer gravity main, and landscaping. Bidders must possess a current Georgia Contractor's License or Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor Number. The City of Fayetteville will ensure that minority business enterprises have full opportunity to submit bids and will not discriminate based on race, color, sex, or national origin.
