About this file

This is Addendum 2 to ITB PW 25-06 issued by the City of Norcross, Georgia for CIPP (Cured-in-Place-Pipe) Relining services. The addendum extends the contract duration from 90 to 120 days from Notice to Proceed, requiring work commencement within 10 calendar days of NTP. The document clarifies that CIPP spray lining is allowed for pipes 36-inch diameter or higher, and folding form liners are acceptable for pipes under 36 inches if materials comply with specifications. UV CIPP liners are permitted as an alternative to felt CIPP, provided they follow ASTM F1216, GDOT specifications, and industry standards.

The addendum addresses payment terms, requiring contractors to provide a fee schedule for all anticipated work including traffic control, point repairs, and ancillary tasks. Billing can be done monthly or per completed section, but billing for incomplete work is not allowed. The city will not pre-approve "or equal" products before bidding. No permits are required for the current scope, and GDOT certification is not mandatory though contractors must follow GDOT specifications. The city is responsible for public notifications and right-of-entry permissions. A new Appendix I for Fee Schedule has been added requiring contractors to detail costs for additional tasks like point repairs, invert repair, headwall adjustments, and riprap placement.
