About this file

This is an Addendum to a competitive bid solicitation (DQ1 AADA 2016-1682) issued by the State for truck toppers and bed slides. The addendum addresses vendor inquiries and modifies specifications for equipment to be installed on State vehicles. The procurement includes two 2015 Ford F350 long bed pickup trucks requiring two Cargo Glide 1500 HD 70% units (one per truck) and two sets of Luverne Grip Step running boards and bed steps (one set per truck). Additionally, one 2016 Ford F150 CNG Extended Cab Long Bed pickup truck requires one A.R.E. Deluxe Commercial Unit (DCU) series truck topper or approved equal with a compatible bed slide. The addendum clarifies that the bed area dimensions on the CNG-equipped F150 are 69 inches by 48 inches, and specifies that a 65-inch by 48-inch bed slide would be functional for the available space.

The addendum identifies this as a material change to the original bidding documents and requires bidders to sign and return the addendum to acknowledge their understanding of the modifications. Bidders must confirm receipt and comprehension of the revised specifications before submitting their proposals. No pricing terms, award dates, contract term information, or response deadlines are specified in this addendum document; such details would be contained in the original solicitation documents.
