About this file
This is Addendum No. 2 issued by the California Department of Transportation's Division of Procurement and Contracts for IFB 02A2346 regarding Sewage Lift Pumps Replacement in Shasta County. The addendum provides clarifying information through six questions and answers about technical specifications for the project, including the dimensions of the sewage lift pump pit (5'3" x 4'3" x 9'), confirmation that current pumps are not on a rail system, and clarification that there are currently no spray nozzles in place. The document also specifies that all mounting, anchoring, and seismic restraint systems for the new 4-inch copper or steel vent piping must comply with California Building Codes, with specific attention to concrete building requirements.
No pricing terms, set-asides, or funding information is provided in this addendum. It maintains that all other terms and conditions from the original IFB remain in effect. The addendum is signed by Contract Analyst Shawn Fitzpatrick and dated December 13, 2024.
