About this file
Addendum No. 2 is issued by the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) for the Effluent Cabinet Analyzer System project, supplementing the original Request for Bid. The addendum, dated July 14th, 2025, provides revisions to the project background and scope, including clarifications on the intended location for the analyzer system on the UV mezzanine and modifications to the requirements for component and accessory listings. The bid opening is scheduled for 11 am on July 18th, 2025, with bidders required to acknowledge receipt and acceptance of the addendum by signing and submitting it with their bid. Failure to include the signed addendum may result in the bid being considered nonresponsive.
The addendum introduces additional flexibility for vendors by allowing multiple equipment options to be listed with associated costs, enabling district staff to choose from various mounting equipment alternatives. Vendors are also encouraged to include optional ancillary equipment that may provide additional benefits. The changes aim to provide more comprehensive information about initial installation costs, recurring operational expenses, and potential supplementary equipment. No specific pricing details or budget constraints are mentioned in this addendum, but it aligns with the broader RFP's goal of selecting a vendor based on qualifications, product quality, budget, schedule, and system complexity.
