About this file
This is Addendum No. 2 to a competitive bid solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Bureau of Design and Construction, for the Manatee Springs State Park - Connect to the Municipalities project (DEP Bid No. BDC18-25/26). The addendum, dated February 6, 2026, provides clarifications and modifications to the original bid package and must be signed and submitted with all bid proposals to Logan Lee-Marple, Contracts Specialist, at the Bureau of Design and Construction office in Tallahassee, Florida. Failure to include the signed addendum with the bid submission may result in bid rejection. The revised plans and septic report incorporated into this addendum supersede the original documents and are available on the DEP public files website.
The addendum addresses three bidder inquiries regarding project specifications. The first addresses details of the restroom and concession stand system's 10-foot-deep, 4-foot-diameter wet well by directing bidders to updated plans on Sheets C104 and C503 and noting that any design variations will be reviewed during the construction phase as shop drawings. The second clarifies that tree protection barriers are not required by Levy County. The third confirms that tanks are not required to be traffic-rated since they will not be installed in locations subject to vehicular traffic loading. All other contract documents and terms remain in full force and effect.
