About this file

This is Addendum No. 2 to Invitation for Price Quote (IFPQ) #32A0612 issued by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for HVAC replacement work in Fairfield, CA. The project involves decommissioning, removing and legally disposing of two existing HVAC units and related equipment, as well as furnishing, installing and commissioning two new 4-ton split HVAC package units with necessary ductwork at the Caltrans Division of Equipment, Fairfield Parts Department.

The addendum updates the Price Quote Proposal form (Attachment 1) which must be used for bid submission or bids will be rejected. It clarifies that subcontracting is not allowed on this contract, as confirmed in response to a bidder question about using a subcontractor with a C-20 license. The work is structured as a single lump sum bid item that includes all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, travel and incidentals necessary to complete the specified HVAC replacement work.
