About this file
The document is a Landscape Maintenance Services Agreement between the City of Leesburg, Florida, and BrightView Landscape Services, Inc., for maintaining right-of-way areas across six different maintenance zones. The contract, originally executed on March 25, 2019, covers landscape maintenance services including mowing, edging, trimming, irrigation maintenance, mulching, weed control, and palm tree trimming. The initial term is three years, with the possibility of extension through September 30, 2023, and the contractor will provide services for areas ranging from US Highway 441 to various local roads and medians. The scope includes weekly and bi-weekly services during active and inactive seasons, with different service levels for median and shoulder areas.
The contract's base annual cost is $379,269, with an alternate annual pricing option of $271,539 that offers a lower service level in certain areas. The pricing includes a 3% cost adjustment for the period from April 1, 2022, through September 30, 2022, and an additional 2% increase from October 1, 2022, through September 30, 2023. The maintenance areas are divided into six lots, with individual pricing for each zone, and the contract allows for potential additions of new right-of-way service areas. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision, and must comply with various regulations, including safety standards, chemical use protocols, and traffic maintenance requirements.
