About this file
This is an Addendum document issued by Caltrans for an HVAC Replacement project in San Diego County, California. The addendum serves to modify or clarify the original Invitation for Public Quotation (IFPQ) solicitation that requires the removal of three (3) old heat pump HVAC units and installation of two (2) new equivalent units. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, permits, disposal fees, travel, and incidentals to complete the work. The solicitation is restricted to Certified Small Businesses/Micro Businesses (SB/MB) or Disadvantaged Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) only. Specific details regarding response dates, due dates, site visits, and bidder's meeting information would be contained within the body of this addendum document to clarify, modify, or supplement the original solicitation terms.
The addendum addresses modifications to pricing terms, technical specifications, scope clarifications, or other contractual requirements established in the original IFPQ. As a set-aside opportunity for certified SB/MB or DVBE contractors, this project carries participation requirements that limit competition to qualifying small and disadvantaged businesses. Caltrans notes that the documents and files attached to this solicitation do not currently have digital accessibility updates, with updates to be applied as soon as available; interested parties may request accessible versions by submitting a request to ADAdocs@dot.ca.gov or calling (833) 713-2922.
