About this file
This document is an addendum to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) for the Champoeg Visitor Center Deck and Railing Replacement project. The addendum updates the bid solicitation schedule, revises the Pricing Submittal Form and Technical Specifications, and provides clarifications. Specifically, the deadline for requests for change, clarification, substitutions, and questions has been extended to June 19, 2024 at 2 PM, and the deadline for bid submittal has been extended to June 19, 2024 at 3 PM. The Pricing Submittal Form has been updated to include additional line items, and the Technical Specifications have been revised to address the transition from concrete to the new 5/4" x 6" decking.
The ITB does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. No information is provided regarding any incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure and technology that requires integration. The ITB also does not include any listed award values or budget ranges for the project.

2.2 REPLACEMENT OF Exhibit 1 and Attachment A
Exhibit 1 Pricing submittal form is changed to add a line item for the required solution for transition from concrete as listed in Attachment A Specifications. Additionally, joist tape was forgotten in the initial bid document as well and was added. Finally, the estimated materials line was updated as the original numbers were based on full deck replacement and didn’t account for the shortening of the deck by 11 feet.
Attachment A is updated and attached to include a solution for transition from concrete to the deck as the current deck sits flush to the concrete but switching to 5/4 x 6 creates a gap. Additionally, confusing language related 5/4 x 6 and 2 x 4 was updated.
