About this file
This is an Addendum No. 1 to an Invitation to Bid issued by Long Beach Utilities, a municipal water, gas, and sewer utility, dated June 13, 2023. The addendum modifies the original solicitation for the provision of Ferric Chloride. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and returning it with their bid submission. The document addresses one question-and-answer pair submitted during the bidding process.
The addendum clarifies that while a Long Beach Business License is not mandatory at the time of quote submittal, awarded contractors must obtain a valid Long Beach Business License prior to contract execution. Contractors who have already filed for a business license may submit information documenting this status with their bid. Bidders are instructed to review these changes when developing their bids and to include their acknowledgment signature, date, and firm name on the addendum form when returning it.
