About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 to the Request for Proposal for Third Party Call Center Service issued by Long Beach Water on January 4, 2023. The addendum addresses five key questions submitted by prospective proposers regarding eligibility and meeting requirements. The selected vendor must be based onshore in the United States, which disqualifies companies from outside the USA such as India or Canada, though out-of-state businesses like those in Nebraska are eligible. In-person attendance at the Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting noted in section 2.3 of the RFP is required with no exceptions; proposals from contractors who do not attend will not be accepted and shall be returned to the proposer. The meeting will not offer a web link or call-in phone number option, and attendance is mandatory regardless of circumstances.
Proposers must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and submitting it with their proposal. No travel to meetings is required beyond the mandatory pre-proposal meeting. All RFP-related tasks must be performed onshore in the United States. The addendum was prepared by Armando Arzate on January 4, 2023, and prospective bidders are instructed to review these changes carefully when developing their bids.
