About this file

This document is an Addendum providing vendor questions and responses from the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for the IFB (Invitation for Bid) for IDOT D2 Fencing Maintenance, Repair, and Replacement Services (BidBuy Bid # 23494DOTFINADB31597). The IFB seeks bids for fencing maintenance, repair, and replacement services for IDOT District 2. Bidders must be certified and approved by the Illinois Small Business Set-Aside Program at the time bids are due in order to be evaluated. The IFB requires electronic submission only, with no paper responses accepted.

Regarding pricing, the IDOT response states that cost plus a percentage markup on materials is not applicable to this IFB. Bidders may provide an optional price list with their bid. The IFB is a set-aside for Illinois small businesses, but does not mention any incumbent contractor or current pricing environment.
