About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI) issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (PADOC) for TRA Integrated Tablets & Software Services, Solicitation Number RFEI PADOC 2015-2. The Addendum provides clarification and answers to questions submitted by potential vendors regarding the solicitation. The PADOC is seeking between 150-200 tablets and associated software services, with the content being updated monthly or more frequently based on policy updates. The solicitation response is due on June 3, 2015 at 2:01 PM. The PADOC has clarified that confidential or proprietary information submitted by vendors will be returned and not considered as part of the RFEI response, as all submissions are subject to Pennsylvania's Right-to-Know Law.

The PADOC does not have a preferred hardware vendor and is open to both tablet-based and classroom-style interactive solutions. While online exams are required, there is no grading system involved. The PADOC is interested in seeing what interactive training content vendors can provide as part of their proposals.
