About this file

This is Addendum #1 to an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation District Five for the installation of roll-up door enclosures at the Orlando Operations facility. The addendum reflects a revision to the ITB timeline, specifically changing the Selection Committee Meeting date. The original ITB DOT-ITB-26-5013-ORUD calls for the installation of eight Stormtite Model 620 powered roll-up doors to enclose four equipment bays at 420 W. Landstreet Road in Volusia County, Florida, with two bays receiving flush-mounted doors and two bays receiving jamb-mounted doors. A mandatory site visit and pre-bid meeting was scheduled for February 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM EST, with price proposals due on or before March 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM EST and public bid opening at 11:00 AM that same day. The Selection Committee Meeting date has been changed from the originally scheduled date and is now reflected in highlighted dates within the addendum. The anticipated contract term is scheduled to begin on or about March 19, 2026, with all work required to be completed by June 1, 2026.

Bidders must furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for complete installation and must meet a minimum five-year experience requirement in the requested services. Mandatory qualifications include a valid Florida business operating license, a general contractor's or builder's license, E-Verify compliance, and general liability insurance with combined bodily injury limits of at least $200,000 per person and $300,000 each occurrence, plus property damage insurance of at least $200,000 each occurrence. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder submitting the lowest bid price, with compensation as a lump-sum payment upon final completion and acceptance. Vendors must provide a three-year warranty on labor, materials, installation, and craftsmanship following final acceptance. All bidders must be registered in Florida's MyFloridaMarketplace system and submit a completed Vendor Certification Regarding Scrutinized Companies Lists. No specific set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises are indicated, and no specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the solicitation materials. All payments are subject to MyFloridaMarketplace Transaction Fees, and the contract does not include renewal options.
