About this file

This document is Addendum 1 for RFQ 25-0040, issued by the Town of Westborough, Massachusetts, for On-Call Engineering & Consulting Services. The addendum provides clarification on proposal submission requirements, specifically addressing three key questions from potential bidders. The document confirms that the DSB (Disadvantaged Business) form must be submitted with the proposal and should be placed at the end of the proposal package. Bidders are informed that while an insurance form is not required with the initial proposal, it will be necessary if the bidder is selected for contract award.

The addendum emphasizes that bidders have discretion in formatting their proposals, with the primary requirement being the inclusion of all information specified in the RFQ. The DSB form is available for download on BidNet, and bidders are instructed to complete all forms at the end of the RFQ document. The addendum was prepared by Shab Khan, Chief Procurement Officer for Westborough, and dated 7/25/2024, indicating this is part of an ongoing procurement process for engineering and consulting services for town and school buildings.
