About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 1 to Request for Proposals (RFP) CM-26-791 issued by the City of Long Beach, Department of Financial Management, for as-needed event equipment rentals for citywide events. The addendum supersedes specific language in the original RFP and requires proposers to acknowledge receipt by signing and submitting the addendum with their proposals, with failure to do so potentially resulting in disqualification. The addendum updates Section 4.1 of the RFP Timeline, establishing October 19, 2026 as the posting date for questions and answers, and October 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM (PST) as the proposal submission deadline. The document was prepared by Richard Peoples, Assistant Administrative Analyst I, and includes signature lines for company representatives to acknowledge receipt.
The addendum includes a reminder that pursuant to Section 5.2.27 of the RFP, the City will not be responsible for or bound by any oral communications or information occurring outside the official communication process unless confirmed in writing by the City Contact. No pricing terms, set-asides, funding sources, or contract duration information is provided in this addendum document.
