About this file

This addendum serves as official Q&A documentation for the New Hampshire Veterans Home's Request for Bid RFB-NHVH-2026-01 for pre-employment physical examination services. The procurement seeks a qualified medical provider to deliver comprehensive pre-employment physicals, fitness-for-duty evaluations, respiratory clearance examinations, tuberculosis testing, and additional medical screening as required for job applicants in Carroll County. The bid was posted on September 19, 2025, with a submission deadline of October 2, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST and includes a mandatory bidder walkthrough scheduled for September 24, 2025. The awarded contract will commence upon Governor and Executive Council approval and extend through June 30, 2030, with an option for a four-year renewal upon mutual agreement. Vendor evaluation will assess service locations where candidates may complete appointments, operational hours, appointment scheduling capabilities, result reporting timelines, and overall service costs across five state fiscal years.

The New Hampshire Veterans Home currently maintains a temporary contract with Concord Hospital Occupational & Employee Health, with pre-employment physicals conducted solely at their Gilford, New Hampshire location. The RFB clarification indicates that services must be performed at the vendor's facilities rather than at the NHVH campus, requiring bidders to identify available physical locations for candidate appointments. The State has indicated sufficient operational budget funding is available for all recruitment needs, though specific budget amounts and current service rates were not disclosed in the addendum. Vendors must be registered to conduct business in New Hampshire and provide proof of insurance and workers' compensation coverage. The contract will be awarded to the lowest compliant bidder, with the State reserving the right to reject any or all bids.

OFFICIAL RESPONSES TO VENDOR QUESTIONS

RFB-NHVH-2026-01

No. Question Answer

1. Under purpose on page 2, it indicates services are done on site but then on page 6 under evaluation criteria it asks what locations we offer. Can you clarify if service must be done at your facility or can be done at our location?

We would not be set up for these to occur at our facility. We are seeking what physical locations you offer that our candidates would use for available pre-employment physical appointments.

2. Who is the current provider? We currently have a temporary contract with Concord Hospital Occupational & Employee Health, and pre-employment physicals are done only at their Gilford, New Hampshire location.

3. What are the current rates for service?

4. What has been budgeted for the new contract?

We currently have sufficient funding in our operational budget for all of our recruitment needs.
