About this file
This document is Addendum 1 for the Town of Telluride's 2024 Street Mill & Overlay Program, dated March 1, 2024. The addendum extends the bid submittal deadline to Friday, March 15, 2024, at 3:00 PM local time and provides clarifications for the project. The project encompasses seven work items involving street milling, asphalt overlay, and road surface improvements across multiple locations in Telluride, including East Columbia Avenue, West Colorado Avenue, Pandora Avenue, Town Park, North Maple Street, and North Willow Street. Work items include traffic control, construction stormwater management, sawcutting existing asphalt, milling, road surface removal, roadbase placement, and hot bituminous pavement overlay and placement, with varying depths of asphalt (2-7 inches) depending on the specific work item.
The addendum clarifies that while a State Stormwater Permit is not required, each work item includes a Construction Stormwater Management pay item requiring a written erosion and sediment control plan with specific components. A new bid tab is included with corrections to bid quantities, units, and an over-excavation line item. Bidders are allowed to submit proposals via hand delivery to the Public Works Facility, overnight mail, or email to Karen Guglielmone, with a request to confirm receipt. The bid alternates include new pavement work for the 400 Block Pandora East Half and widening the 600 Block West Colorado Avenue travelway by 4 feet. Contractors have flexibility in road surface removal methods and are advised that subgrade preparation is subsidiary to existing bid items.

c. identifying locations of any stored materials, asphalt, or aggregate
d. identifying locations of any porta potties if applicable
e. noting your daily clean up plan; for example, street sweeping and trash clean up
f. dust control
• Clarifications:
