About this file
This is an Addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Genesee Intermediate School District for an EKLC Furniture contract with a proposal deadline of May 13, 2019, at 2:00 PM. The addendum modifies bidding requirements by eliminating the previously mandated bid bond submission, thereby removing a financial security requirement that had been specified in the original RFP documentation.
The addendum specifically disregards Part III, number 4 of the original bidding requirements, which had required all bidders to submit either a certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid amount or one month's estimated service cost, whichever was greater. Additionally, the addendum removes the requirement from Part III, number 13, item 1 that a check or bid bond accompany the bid proposal. This modification eliminates a barrier to entry for potential bidders by removing the financial surety obligation while maintaining all other proposal submission requirements and evaluation criteria.
