About this file

This is Addendum 1 to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation for asphalt paving work at James River State Park in Gladstone, Virginia. The project encompasses asphalt paving, improvements, general maintenance, and repairs of approximately 15,004 square yards of existing paved roadways and parking areas on Park Road leading to Dixon Landing. The addendum modifies terms and conditions of the original solicitation for qualified contractors to bid on the work. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was required as part of the original solicitation process. The contract scope includes addressing existing pavement conditions and parking infrastructure at the specified park location.

The addendum document provides clarifications, modifications, or additional requirements to the original IFB that bidders must incorporate into their proposals. Interested contractors were required to review both the original IFB and this addendum in their entirety to ensure compliance with all current project specifications and bidding requirements. The addendum serves to update project details, pricing terms, or other material conditions that may affect bid preparation and submission.
