This is Addendum No. 1 to the specifications for a solicitation issued by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for tile work at St. Croix State Park. The project involves the supply and installation of ceramic tile in the women's bathroom located at the All Seasons Trail Center, one mile north of park headquarters. The original bid opening date of January 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM has not changed. Bidders must respond to the latest version of the project event to acknowledge the addendum and avoid bid rejection. Addendum No. 1 provides clarifications regarding project specifications and the scope of work. The restroom is heated and can be locked during contractor work to secure materials. Department staff, including a Carpenter or Building Utility Mechanic, will conduct daily inspections and oversee waterproofing application and all work progression. The contractor is responsible only for tile purchase and installation; department staff will handle installation of new partitions, toilets, and other fixtures. Durarock will be installed flush to the block walls, with tile adhered to both block and concrete. The department will patch the concrete floor prior to contractor commencement. Waterproofing will be applied to all floors and walls where tile will be installed. Unit pricing must include all labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, and applicable taxes. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting all specifications and terms, with the state reserving the right to award items separately or by grouping as deemed advantageous.
