About this file
This is Addendum 1 to Request for Proposal #GS-26-13 issued by the County of Louisa Finance Department in Virginia for pest control and inspection services across multiple county facilities. The addendum updates the proposal submission deadline to July 21, 2026 at 3:30 PM local time. The contract encompasses 48 county-owned facilities of varying types, including office buildings, warehouses, residential spaces, library facilities, recreational centers, fire stations, animal shelters, refuse and recycling centers, and specialized structures such as courthouses and training centers. The services required include general pest control, rodent management, termite treatment, and inspections conducted at varying frequencies specified in the pricing schedule. Site visits to the facilities may be scheduled through the county's general services department by calling (540) 967-3462. The addendum confirms that each building listed in the pricing schedule requires individual pricing, even when multiple facilities share similar addresses or proximity.
The approximate annual contract value for current pest control services is $12,000. Bidders are provided with detailed facility descriptions to ensure accurate pricing submissions, including identification of facility types such as office spaces, warehouse spaces, mixed-use buildings, and specialized facilities like pools and gymnasiums. The addendum references that the county previously experienced a mouse infestation at the Animal Shelter and a termite issue at the Circuit Courthouse, both of which have been resolved. No emergency or after-hours response services are required under this contract. All specifications, performance standards, and service schedules are contained in the scope of services and pricing schedule sections of the main RFP document.
