About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 to an Unsealed Invitation for Bids (UIFB# 154:26-120220) issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles for HVAC Systems Replacement services at the Staunton DMV Customer Service Center. The addendum, dated June 5, 2026, modifies the original scope of work by eliminating the thermostat replacement requirement and adding a specification that the new 10-ton unit must have a minimum capacity of 30KW. The proposal deadline remains June 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. All bidders must submit a signed acknowledgment of this addendum electronically with their bids, in addition to signing the original IFB document. The contract officer responsible for this modification is Matin Zakir.

Bidders are required to submit acknowledgment of this addendum as a condition of bid acceptance, and failure to do so may result in bid rejection. The specifications for the 10-ton unit's minimum 30KW capacity requirement and the elimination of thermostat installation represent material changes to the original scope of work that directly impact project cost and labor requirements. All other terms and conditions of the original UIFB, including pricing requirements, insurance mandates, performance timeline of thirty days for completion, and the one-year contract term remain in effect unless otherwise modified by subsequent addenda.
