About this file

This is an Addendum 1 document issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for Invitation to Bid No. RFB-54-26 regarding Facilities Exterior Lighting Improvements at Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. The addendum, dated September 8, 2025, contains five binding modifications to the contract documents prepared by E-TECH CONSULTANTS, PLLC. The modifications specify contractor responsibilities including the removal of all existing building-mounted and ground-mounted lights including flag lights, requirements for directional boring of conduits at a minimum depth of 24 inches with contractor responsibility for utility locates and any necessary repairs, specifications for pull box placement and materials (Quazite 18x24 heavy-duty closed bottom Tier 15 when installed in grassy areas), removal of the existing site lighting timer/contactor from Mechanical/Electrical Room 500A, and clarification that three light fixtures (OLF8) on the east side of the main building are new installations rather than replacements requiring new mounting locations and power connections.

The addendum references Drawing SE1.01 Site Electrical Plan for all specifications and modifications. No specific pricing terms, contract duration, response deadlines, or award dates are provided within this addendum document. The document directs all bidders to conform to these changes as they become binding upon issuance of the contract resulting from the invitation to bid.
