About this file

This document is an Addendum to an Invitation to Bid (RFB-52-26) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for Facilities Exterior Lighting Improvements at Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg, Kentucky. The addendum, dated September 8, 2025, provides detailed modifications to the original bid specifications, specifically addressing changes to the Site Electrical Plan (Drawing SE1.01). The modifications include instructions for removing existing building and ground-mounted lights, allowing directional boring for conduit installation with a minimum 24-inch depth, revising pole designations, and specifying electrical circuit requirements.

The addendum, prepared by E-Tech Consultants, PLLC, provides additional technical guidance for bidders, such as requirements for pull box installations in grassy areas (specifying Quazite 18x24 heavy duty closed bottom Tier 15 with "ELECTRICAL" cover) and mandating that all work must meet State Electrical Inspector and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. The document emphasizes the contractor's responsibilities for utility locates, potential rock and utility repairs, and ensuring electrical infrastructure meets current code requirements. No specific budget or funding details are provided in this addendum.
