About this file
This document is an Addendum to the Request for Proposal (RFP) WEST-02-2023-2024-11 for Custodial and Maintenance Services issued by the Westwood Community School District in Wayne County, Michigan. The addendum revises the proposal due date from January 25, 2024 to February 15, 2024, and adds a new section on the Service Level Agreement (SLA). The SLA outlines the criteria Westwood will use to evaluate the contractor's performance, including weekly inspections, monthly high-level inspections, and response times for correcting deficiencies. The addendum also provides answers to 52 questions received from potential bidders, covering topics such as current staffing levels, pay rates, equipment, and responsibilities.
The current contract for these services is held by RNA Facilities Management. The district is seeking proposals for a new multi-year contract, with the option to renew. Bidders must include a 2% administrative fee payable to the CoPro+ cooperative purchasing program. Westwood may consider purchasing chemicals directly to achieve cost savings. The district currently spends approximately $972,000 annually for these services.
