About this file
This document is an Addendum (No. 1) issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. DOT-ITB-25-7021-EG, which concerns the procurement of Power Outage Emergency Beacons (POEB) and Manual Transfer Switches for District Seven. The public bid opening is scheduled for April 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The addendum serves to notify potential bidders of the confirmed timeline and instructs bidders to acknowledge receipt of the addendum by completing and returning it to the Procurement Office by the bid opening date.
The addendum emphasizes critical procedural requirements, specifically that failure to acknowledge receipt of the addendum may result in bidder disqualification. Additionally, the document includes a legal notice regarding protest procedures under Section 120.57(3) of Florida Statutes, which outlines the timeframe and conditions for filing protests or posting required bonds. The procurement process is being managed by Enrique Garcia, the designated Procurement Agent for this solicitation.
