About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 issued by the Florida Department of Transportation for ITB-25-7013-EG regarding the HVAC System Replacement for Brooksville Operations Center, with a bid opening date of February 12, 2025. The addendum addresses two technical questions related to the scope of work: first clarifying that vendors are responsible for modifying existing and fabricating new duct work, plenums, trunk lines, intakes, registers and return ductwork to create a complete functional assembly with the new air handler unit; and second providing data plate information for the 3.0- and 3.5-ton condensers in mechanical room #104.
The addendum includes images of two air conditioner data plates from Trane/Ingersoll Rand units. The first unit (Model 4TTA3042D3000CA) was manufactured in 11/2015 with 208/230V specifications, while the second unit (Model 4TTA3036B3000AA) was manufactured in 1/2016 with similar voltage specifications. Both units show ETL certification and AHRI certification marks. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by completing and returning it to the Procurement Office by the bid opening date to avoid disqualification.

RE: DOT-ITB-25-7013-EG
ITB TITLE: HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) SYSTEM
REPLACEMENT FOR BROOKSVILLE OPERATIONS CENTER
OPENING DATE: February 12, 2025
Notice is hereby given of the following changes to the above-referenced ITB:
1. TECHNICAL QUESTIONS:
1) Question: Are Vendor’s responsible for changing the ductwork above the ceiling or are we are only responsible for changing the machine and the supply and return Plenum in the rooms?
Answer: The vendor shall be responsible to modify existing and fabricate new duct work, plenums, trunk line, intakes, registers and return ductwork to tie into the new air handler unit to create a complete and functional assembly.
2) Question: On page 27 of the report or C-1 on the bid sheet, I'm missing the condenser data plates info for mechanical room #104. It's the 3.0- and 3.5-ton condensers. Can someone please provide this info?
Answer:
Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by completing and returning it to the Procurement Office, by no later than the time and date of the bid opening. Failure to do so may subject the bidder to disqualification.
