About this file

This is Addendum 1 to IFB #ACUP-16-01 issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs Business Services Office for Transcription, Translation and Onsite Interpretation services. The addendum, dated May 5, 2016, clarifies that bidders must be located in the USA (preferably California), must attend meetings in person, and must provide all three services (transcription, translation, and onsite interpretation) - partial bids are not acceptable. The document specifies that bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes rather than via email, and providers must be licensed in California even for remote translation services.

The addendum provides volume data indicating 100 hours of audio under the current contract. The document emphasizes that all work must be performed within the USA and that verbal information will not be binding unless issued in writing as an official addendum. Notable requirements include mandatory California licensing and the stipulation that bidders must be capable of providing all three service categories - no partial service bids will be considered.
