About this file
This document is an Addendum to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) for plumbing services in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. The IFB seeks a contractor to provide routine and non-routine plumbing services to Caltrans-owned properties in these counties, as described in the Proposed Form of Agreement. The total estimated contract amount is $3,000,000 over three years. The addendum addresses questions from potential bidders, including the requirement for a payment bond for service requests over $25,000 and the maximum allowable expenditure of $10,000 for parts, materials, and supplies over the contract term.
The IFB requires a bidder's bond for bids $461,000 and greater. The contract does not specify any set-asides or incumbents. Funding for the contract will come from Caltrans' budget, but the document does not provide exact funding amounts or sources.
