About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) #24-01 for Solid Waste Services issued by a city government. The city is providing twenty-one 96-gallon containers and one 8-yard dumpster as part of the contract, and will provide the location for a convenience center where customers can bring trash. The convenience center will be open Tuesday through Saturday, at least 8 hours per day, and the city would like a pricing structure for customers outside the city limits. The current solid waste hauler is Amwaste, and the city currently pays the disposal costs, which will change under this contract as the vendor will have exclusive rights to provide all solid waste services within the city limits.

Regarding pricing, the city is no longer requiring smart chip technology on the roll carts, and is instead requesting that all carts be clean and in good working condition. The contract will include established residential customers being allowed a certain amount of trash per month to bring to the convenience center.
