About this file

This is Addendum 1 to RFB 13046-0-2024-TJ for Railroad Joint Inspection services issued by the City of Madison Finance Department's Purchasing Services division on May 3, 2024. The solicitation involves joint inspection services for 15 traffic signals specifically focused on railroad preemption systems and their operational requirements. The addendum clarifies that inspections must include consultant representatives, railroad representatives, a City of Madison traffic engineer or representative, and a traffic signal field technician from the City of Madison, and bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum on RFP Form B.

The project scope is limited exclusively to railroad preemption evaluation and does not include assessment of other traffic signal deficiencies such as missing railroad signs or broken pedestrian push buttons. The inspections will be scheduled to include railroad personnel and all parties required by the railroad company. No specific pricing terms, contract duration, funding sources, or award information is provided in this addendum document.
