About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 for Request for Quotation (RFQ) 2501700 issued by the City of Leesburg, dated May 6, 2025, concerning the Purchase of Moxa Network Switches. The addendum provides clarification to potential bidders, specifically addressing a key question about alternatives. The City explicitly states that no alternatives will be accepted for this procurement.
The addendum instructs all interested bidders on how to acknowledge receipt of the document, including revising electronic submissions or returning a signed addendum in a sealed envelope. The document includes specific guidelines for submission, such as including the company name, address, bid number, opening date and time, and "Addendum No: 1" on the envelope. Bidders are required to acknowledge the addendum, and the City will construe all received bids as having acknowledged the addendum, even if not explicitly signed.

Text version
DATE: May 6, 2025 TO: All Interested Bidders and Other Interested Parties FROM: Hosea Goodwyn, Senior Buyer
The City makes the following changes, additions, deletions, information, and/or clarifications and now considers the addendum a part of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) Document. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum. If the bidder has already submitted the Proposal Form to the City’s Purchasing Division, the Bidder should revise their electronic submission to include this addendum or sign and return this addendum in a sealed envelope. The envelope should include the company name and address, the bid number, opening date and time, and "Addendum No: 1". In any case, the submission of a bid is an acknowledgment of receipt of the addendum. The City will construe all bids received as though the Bidder has received and acknowledged the addendum.
Below is the City’s reply to RFIs (Request for Information – a/k/a bid inquiries or questions) submitted by interested parties by the posted deadline to submit RFIs.
