About this file
This document is an Addendum to the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the ANDERSON READINESS CENTER PARKING AREA IMPROVEMENTS Project Number 220057A001, issued by the Oregon Military Department (OMD) Joint Force Headquarters, Oregon National Guard Installations Division. The addendum outlines changes, clarifications, and responses to questions received during the RFI period for this project, which involves the design and construction of a new overflow surge parking area north of the existing parking lot at the Anderson Readiness Center. The project is located in Marion County and the City of Salem and must comply with National Guard Bureau (NGB) regulations and City of Salem permitting requirements. The RFP deadline is April 21, 2023, and the estimated project budget is $940,000 for construction, with the design limited to 3%, 6%, and 3% of the estimated construction budget.
The addendum also clarifies that a hazardous materials survey is not required for this project, but the contractor must conform to regulatory procedures if such materials are encountered. Additionally, the addendum states that the project does not require additional pedestrian access standards or a new application for the parking lot expansion. The vertical datum to be used is NGVD 29, and natural resources requirements, if any, will be a joint effort between OMD and the selected design team.
