About this file
This is Addendum 1 to Invitation to Bid #23-022 issued by the Muscogee County School District in Columbus, Georgia for the purchase of produce items intended for the School Nutrition Program. The addendum, dated May 5, 2023, addresses seven vendor questions regarding product specifications and delivery requirements. Key specifications clarified include that apples are bulk packed without padding trays between layers, honeydews may be supplied in vendors' available counts, cabbage slaw mix should be shredded with color (containing 1 pound red cabbage and 1 pound shredded carrots per 5-pound bag), lettuce and salad mixes must include color varieties, sweet potatoes shall be medium size, and watermelons must be seedless. All orders are to be delivered on Mondays, with holiday deliveries rescheduled to the following business day; key-drop delivery is not permitted.
The addendum establishes that vendors must comply with the specified product configurations and delivery schedule as outlined in the original bid documents. The Purchasing Manager for Muscogee County School District, Aileen Arrighi, issued these clarifications to ensure all bidders understand the District's requirements and can submit competitive and compliant proposals. No pricing information, contract term, award date, or other financial details are specified in this addendum document.

2. Honeydews are only packed in 5 or 6ct per case.
Answer: Vendors shall price the honeydews in the count they can supply.

Answer: The MCSD School Nutrition currently has shredded color cabbage slaw mix.
4. Same Question on the lettuce, salad mix, romaine (romine blend) with color or without?
Answer: The MCSD School Nutrition currently has colored lettuce.
5. What size on the sweet potato? Breaker (small) #2 (Medium) Jumbo (Large)? They are all 40lb just different size products.

6. Assuming watermelons are seedless?
Answer: Yes. Watermelons are seedless.
7. The bid document states that all orders are to be delivered Monday and if delivery schedules fall on a holiday it will be made the following business day. Can we deliver on a holiday Monday if a key is provided?
