About this file
This document is an addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by Old Dominion University (the University) for Media Buying and Planning services. The RFP seeks to establish a contract with a qualified agency to provide digital and traditional media services, including strategies for outdoor advertising, radio, television, transit, and social media. The University does not currently have a digital agency of record and hopes the selected offeror will serve in this capacity. The RFP closing date is April 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM. The University has outlined various media tactics and channels that should be addressed, as well as key performance indicators such as click-through-rate, conversion rates, and cost-per-acquisition. The University indicates it has a measurement solution in place and requires real-time reporting dashboards from the selected vendor.
The University has not set a specific budget for this contract, indicating that funds will be allocated based on various campaigns and initiatives. The University is open to compensation models such as direct pay or pre-payment arrangements. While this is a new requirement for the University, they have utilized various traditional media channels in the past, including digital, streaming, and outdoor advertising. The University will not provide samples of their current creative but is able to share information about their existing digital marketing strategy, which includes tactics such as social media, email, content strategy, SEO, and CTV.
